Hello, My names Desiree aka Lilo or Dezi, I’m a mom of 2 who’s currently unemployed and a full time student at UEI college to be a Medical Assistant, once I’m finished with Medical Assisting, I enrolled into an LVN program at Unitek college to further my education and fulfill my dream of becoming a nurse. My youngest son Major, has a heart murmur and severe eczema, my eldest Octavia was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease. I want to be able to care for my babies independently and show them it’s good to have dreams. I want to set a good example for my kids and have my family be proud of my endeavors. As we all know, being an unemployed mom of 2 in college can be challenging. I’m trying to raise money to be able to pay for my prerequisites to secure my spot in class. I’ve gone through all financial aid channels and unfortunately it’s still not enough. I overcame being an addict and alcoholic and I’m now 7 years clean. It’s something I’m very proud of. I’ve been through many challenges that made me question my faith and moral stance for a long time. I believe I’ve been put on this earth to do great things and to take care of your loved ones.
