Just four days after we launched a Go FundMe campaign to assist Desiree with her medical and living expenses she passed away. Desirée’s death came just 6 weeks after the death of her husband Roger. This has been a devastating loss especially so for there only child, Christiane.

We are extremely grateful to all of you who have contributed to this campaign and can not thank you all enough. Your contributions have and will make a tremendous impact on this very sad turn of events. We will continue the Gofundme until the middle of September.

When we started the campaign, we never imagined that we would lose Des so soon. On behalf of her daughter Christiane, her family and close friends, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support received so far.

Your contributions have assisted with funeral expenses and, most importantly, will go a long way in helping Chrissy as she faces the difficult road ahead—having lost both parents within just six weeks of each other. For this reason, we have decided to keep the GoFundMe page open a little longer to help ensure that Chrissy can continue in her final year at Howard University with some financial stability.
