Help Desire Achieve Her Firefighter-EMT Dream

Hi, my name is Desire Hernandez. I’m 18 years old and currently attending Rio Hondo College, where I’m majoring in Fire Science.

My career plan is to become a firefighter, eventually, a paramedic and hopefully along the way go up in ranks. I’m passionate about helping others and committed to making a real difference in my community. In order to take the next step toward this career, I need to complete an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) course, which is a required prerequisite for acceptance into the fire academy.

I’m currently raising funds to cover the cost of this EMT class, which includes books, materials, uniforms, and other necessary expenses. Any support you can give, no matter the amount, will bring me closer to achieving my goal of serving others as a first responder.
