After a life-threatening illness and multiple week-long hospital stays, I found myself and my family facing challenges we never expected. The need for my caretaking and my inability to work led to job loss and, eventually, homelessness. Even though we were able to get on a program through a local non-profit, we still struggle to cover our daily hygiene needs and monthly bills. Every day is a new challenge, but we are doing our best to keep moving forward.

The funds raised here will help us meet our most basic needs—hygiene items, clothing, laundry, and keeping up with monthly bills. They will also help us afford transportation to and from my doctor visits, which are essential for my recovery. This month is especially hard, as two of our children have birthdays, and we have no way to provide even a small gift for them. Your support will help us bring a little joy to their special days and keep our family together during this difficult time.
