My dear friend Desirae is facing an incredibly difficult time as she prepares to attend the long-awaited trial for her mother’s tragic passing. Eight years ago, her mother’s life was taken in a senseless act. She was brutally beaten & tortured, and taken from so many of those who loved her. Now Desirae must relive that painful experience as she takes the stand and seeks justice.

This process will require her to be away from work for up to two weeks, creating a financial strain with lost income, travel expenses, gas, and everyday bills. During an already emotional and overwhelming time, the added stress of financial hardship makes it even more difficult for her to focus on healing and being present for the trial.
