Help Desert Roots Kitchen Re-Root & Re-Locate

After nearly 13 years in the Mill Avenue Shops Courtyard, Desert Roots Kitchen is Re-Rooting to a new location in Tempe. The new location is CONFIRMED!! We are looking forward to planting new ROOTS, shared values, and significantly grow again!

Many businesses in Downtown Tempe have experienced lots of hardships in the past few years due to increased rents, ongoing construction, lack of parking, and newer developments around, etc. It's time for us to relocate! We are NOT CLOSING...

DRK will be OPEN again very soon, with so much extra amazingness to offer and share.

Your support and financial contributions are crucial right now, and all donations and sharing this fundraiser are greatly appreciated.

What you will be helping us with during this significant transition:

* funds for securing a new lease & deposits

* permits, inspections, & fees ($2500-$2800)

* build-outs, equipment, re-modeling

* moving truck/lifgate rental ($350)

* storage unit for restaurant equipment, appliances, and supplies ($500 min)

* labor for staff and extra moving help

* personal funds for basic living expenses (home rent, food, bills) during downtime while not generating daily revenue ($2400)

* unexpected expenses, fees, challenges that may arrise

* leasing costs for ghost/commissary kitchens to be able to cater and provide DRK food to the public in-between locations

* paying staff and moving help ($1000-2000)
