Help Des Afford Her Kidney Transplant

Hi, my name is Jill. Desiree Perkovich is my best friend, and she needs a kidney transplant. She has medical insurance, but unfortunately, there are still many costs that she has to pay. Considering she has been out of work since her kidney function plummeted to 2% in July, and since she'll have to recover for about 6 months after her transplant, she could use our help. She has been getting dialysis 3 times a week, among other procedures and tests that are, sadly, not always covered by insurance. Des was diagnosed with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) when we were in high school. It's a rare disease that scars the filters in your kidneys. Des had been in remission for years until COVID19 exacerbated her kidney disease. Her kidneys are now too scarred to function or heal, so she needs a transplant immediately.
