Help Derrick with Treatment Funding

Hello my name is Derrick I’m 35 years old. I have two children a 4 year old boy and 13 year old daughter. 3 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 oropharyngeal (throat) cancer. I went through intense radiation and chemotherapy treatments in efforts to rid all the cancer. After all the treatments the cancer remained hidden in my voice box. The only option left was to get a laryngectomy (surgical removal of my voice box) ( hole in my throat stoma) Ever since the surgery 3 years ago I have been cancer free. I just got diagnosed with sinus cancer. Looking to start treatment here in a couple weeks. With everything in prices going up it’s been hard especially knowing now that I got cancer again. I’m already on disability since I had throat cancer 3 years ago. Coming across money is pretty hard for me. I used to be on Medicaid but recently got taken off. So now all my medications, treatments, and surgeries are gonna be very hard for me to afford. We will also be having to travel back and forth from Cincinnati very frequently in care at University of Cincinnati hospital for treatment which is an hour away. My wife works very hard but still things are hard to afford. We werent expecting this and it’s really hard and frustrating when I try to do the best for my kids and give them what they need. It’s hard for me as a man to ask for help, but the Bible says to not carry your burdens. I got faith that God and His people can help me get through this rough season in my life. Cancer sucks and it ruins people. I don’t want it to ruin me. It’s done lots of damage to me already and I’m scared I won’t be able to provide for my family. Especially this time of year during the holidays. Anything will help and I really appreciate everyone who helps or shares my GoFundMe. My family and I would be extremely grateful.
