Help Derrick Fight Cancer

Last month our Derrick was given the heart breaking news that he had Osteosarcoma bone cancer.  Derrick is a 16 year old student athlete that loves life and football.  He is a student at Shadow Creek High School where he participates on the Varsity football team.  Derrick just finished his first year of varsity, where him and his fellow team mates won the Texas UIL Class 5A championship.   Throughout his life, Derrick has been able to connect with his coaches and teammates with an unrelenting   determination and team first mentality.  Derrick started playing football at the age of 5 years old with the Stafford Cobras.   

Derrick is a great big brother to his younger brother Erik.  As Derrick begins this journey,  the family will need our help to get through this ordeal.   We all know how Cancer can effect a family.  There are doctor appointments, hospital stays and Chemo treatment.  The family will need financial help to make it through this.
