Help Derrick and his family
Derrick faces an unbelievable tragedy with the sudden and unexpected passing of his long time girlfriend and mother of his children, Amy. Expecting their son in the coming months, Amy had an emergency C-section four days ago and gave birth to their 28 week old son who is still in the NICU.
Amy unexpectedly passed yesterday leaving Derrick, their newborn son, and their two year old daughter Quinn.
His brothers he served with in the 181st Infantry decided to put together a fund raiser to help defray expenses for the funeral, transportation to see his son still in the NICU for the foreseeable future, and anything else he and his family might need
Derrick has served in Guantanamo bay, numerous emergency call outs for the Massachusetts National Guard and Afghanistan. He continues to serve today working for OSHA. It's our turn to step up and help him now.
The money will be sent to Jon Williams who will get funds to Derrick in whatever manner is easiest and most convenient for Derrick to help him with anything he and his kids might need in these tough times ahead.
