A normal day turned into a life-threatening emergency. Andrea suffered a sudden cardiac episode with no warning and is now in the ICU, in a coma, fighting for her life.

Andrea is the kind of person you don't come across very often-the smartest, most helpful woman with a true heart of gold. She's the one who shows up for everyone else, no questions asked. And now, she needs us.

Derrick is doing everything he can to stay strong, not just for Andrea, but for their two daughters who need their dad now more than ever. He's trying to be at the hospital, care for his girls, and process the unimaginable all at once.

Andrea does not have medical insurance, and the cost of ICU care and life-saving treatment is overwhelming. At the same time, everyday needs don't stop-rent, food, gas, and taking care of two children continue no matter what.
