Hi, my name is Lexi and I am asking for your support in raising money for a reliable vehicle for my friend Derek, a single dad of two young boys. Derek and I met in high school, and over the years, I've seen how much he does for his family. Right now, he needs a car not only for getting to work and around town, but also to help his sick grandma, who has cancer. He needs to be able to take her to her appointments, some of which are an hour and a half away from where he lives. He also needs to be able to take his kids to and from school as well as himself and his son to their therapy appointments. One of his kids has a behavior disorder, and therapy is essential for him. Sometimes, Derek has to pick him up from school early when he misbehaves.

Derek is the only one in his family with a license, so he does not have anyone else to help him or his grandma get around. Without a reliable vehicle, every day is a struggle to meet his family's needs and support his grandma through her cancer treatment. If he can reach his goal, it would be a massive help in reducing the stress of not having a reliable way to get around to help himself and others in his life.
