Help Derek Hamm's Family in Their Time of Need

It breaks my heart that I am writing this for my very best friend, Derek Hamm. On January 29, 2025, Derek was involved in a tragic car accident where he was airlifted to Indianapolis Methodist Hospital due to a neck injury and severe head trauma. The family has had collective meetings with neurology and palliative care and were assured he will not recover from the damage to his brain. They have agreed to have his vent shut off after his brothers can get there.

He was listed as an organ donor, so a piece of him will live on by saving the lives of others. Please continue to say prayers for strength in healing on this process of saying goodbye to our son, father, brother, and friend...

He is so loved.

There's so much I could say to describe Derek Hamm. He truly is a one-of-a-kind soul. The love he had for art and his ability to create anything was remarkable. He has made such an impact on so many of us that will be held in our hearts always. He had a twinkle in his eye every time he would smile, and that would instantly make you forget if you were having a bad day. Derek's heart was SO full of love for his children, his family, his friends, and his sweet little Dolly.

I guess God needed someone to paint some murals up in Heaven...

As you can imagine, this is a difficult time for Derek's family. We are asking for donations to help ease the financial burden by contributing to his funeral expenses and medical bills.
