Kevin "Nick" "Moose" Prejean, 33 years old, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with metastasis to his liver and both lungs.
He is a native to Iberia parish. He is a proud father to an awesome 11 year old little girl. He has served the Parish of New Iberia for 13 years as a deputy with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's office.
He has a long fight in front of him. Even with insurance and short term disability the medical bills are already starting to add up.
He is starting cancer treatment locally, however he does have a referral to MD Anderson in Texas.
MD Anderson is one of the best cancer hospitals in the country!!
