Hello, my name is Deonna. On December 22, 2024, I was involved in a serious accident. I was hit by a drunk driver and suffered injuries that are disabling me the use of my right arm as well as a neck injury. My car is totaled, and the other driver was underinsured, leaving me without a car and some medical bills unpaid. I drive rideshare for income, and because of my injury and lack of my own vehicle, I am left with paying for a rental that averages out to $1,500 a month just so I can get to therapy and doctor's appointments. Rideshare will not cover anything because I didn’t have a passenger in the car at the time. Every day I’m in pain and have chronic headaches, making it hard to work. I am fundraising for help with a down payment on another car as well as medical bills that have accumulated. With this help, I can take the time to heal a lot faster so I can get back to work.
