My name is Dennis Webb. I owned and operated Webb Roofing, Inc. of Pinellas County for 55 years. In December of 2021, I went to my 50th Largo High School reunion. That evening I ended up at Morton Plant Hospital with a severe infection on the bottom of my right foot. I was in the hospital for 6 weeks. I went into the hospital at 235 lbs, and came out at 190 lbs. I was on a pic line for 6 more weeks. During that time, my secretary, Jenn, stole approximately $400,00 from me. Draining my personal and business accounts. Also, taking loans and credit cards out under my personal and business name. She was convicted and received 5 years of prison and 10 years of probation. I never got a dime of my money back. I had to close my business that I put 55 years of my life into. Without a consistent source of money, my wife left me, our daughter Jordan, and granddaughter Harlee. In October of 2022, I found out I had colon cancer. I had surgery and thankfully survived. 3 months later, my prostate issues started. I had to sell everything I've worked for, to try and stay afloat. My racecars, wave runner, boat, vehicles. The only thing I have of value, is my family.
April of 2024 our home in Largo was sold and we had to move to Port Richey due to the price of everything in Pinellas County. My daughter Jordan suffers from Grand Mal Seizures and has lost both jobs she had here, due to them. She has been focused on looking for work from home jobs and the fight with disability.
November 2025 I spent a week in the hospital to find out I have blood clots in my legs, lungs, and around my heart. I have a list of doctors I have to continue to follow-up with. But every doctor/specialist comes with more bills, on top of our existing bills.
Due to the fact that neither my daughter nor myself can work, we are fighting to keep our home. If not for family we would already be homeless. We do use what county resources we can but it just isn't enough. We are asking for donations to help keep our home and help with doctor bills. We know the prices of living is outrageous for everyone so we are thankful for any kind of help we can get. Thank you in advance!
