Dennis is my new cat, and I adopted him from a shelter on April 6th. He was a stray from Puerto Rico and arrived in Maine with only one eye—the other had been removed before he came to me. His remaining eye was cloudy, and the shelter didn’t know what was wrong. When I took Dennis to the vet, he was diagnosed with bullous keratopathy, a condition that threatens his only remaining eye. The vet said he may need surgery to save his vision, and I want to do everything possible to help him.

Dennis is about a year and a half old and has already been through so much in his young life. Despite his challenges, he’s loving, playful, and has brought so much joy to my home. The funds from this fundraiser will be used solely for Dennis’s medical treatment—surgery, vet visits, and medication—to give him the best chance at keeping his vision and living a happy, healthy life.
