Help Dennis Rye's Family with Medical and Funeral Costs
Donation protected
On November 14th, my father, Dennis Rye died suddenly from a major stroke. His death has left a huge hole in our lives in many ways. Dad did everything. Mom and I never had to worry about the house or any of the bills associated with it. Suddenly we find ourselves responsible for everything. We have no idea how he did it.
In November Mom had stomach ulcers which resulted in a five day stay in a hospital nearly two hours from our home. I know Dad struggled to pay the bill off and just succeeded in finishing that two weeks before his passing. I know that because two weeks before his death Mom was once again in the hospital with a suspected stroke. Three days into her hospital stay they down graded it from a stroke, to a pinched nerve and finally to arthritis.
We haven't seen Mom's final bill yet for that fiasco. Now we have to wait for Dad's ambulance ride, his two day hospital stay while we waited for the worst outcome possible, to be told he was brain dead.
We paid the cost of the funeral and that's taken most of what we had. So we're hoping our friends can spare a few dollars to help us remain solvent.
Plus we still have to buy a tomb stone and have that installed. Sadly the bills keep coming.
