Our friend Gale Matheny recently received an emergency liver transplant. Her husband Dennis Matheny is a retired Captain of the Forest City (NC) Fire Department and continues to serve others as a Regional Director of the North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Gale is making a remarkable recovery but still has a long road ahead. Dennis had to rent an apartment in Charlotte for several weeks in order to keep Gale close to the hospital while she is going through rehab. They recently celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary while Gale was in the hospital . The Lord has blessed Dennis and Gale with a wonderful family and a lot of friends all over North Carolina. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
