Hello everyone,

On December 28 we received devestating news Denize Garcia was diagnosed with T-Cell Lukemia Cancer. She will soon start her long term treatment as they are still running several test to make sure she receives the proper treatment. Denize is a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin but most importantly a mother to a 2 year old. She has been admitted at Stanford since her doctor received the results.

Denize started with a minor cold then her symptoms started with a severe cough, shortness of breath and stomach pains. She visited the ER where they ran test and conducted a cat-scan. That is how they found an undetermined mass on her left lung in which they performed a biopsy on. After several weeks we received the news that you are never prepared to hear.

Denize is the main provider for her and her daughter and we know this will be a long process. As her family we ask for any help with donations or prayers. We believe in the power of prayer and we would truly appreciate any kind of support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and god bless you all!

El 28 de diciembre recibimos noticias devastadoras que a Denize García le diagnosticaron cáncer de lukmia de células T. Pronto comenzará su tratamiento a largo plazo, ya que todavía se están realizando varias pruebas para asegurarse de que reciba el tratamiento adecuado. Denize es hija, hermana, tía, prima, pero lo más importante es la madre de un niña de 2 años. Ha sido admitida en Stanford desde que su médico recibió los resultados.

Denize comenzó con un resfriado leve y luego sus síntomas comenzaron con una tos severa, dificultad para respirar y dolores de estómago. Visitó la sala de emergencias donde realizaron la prueba y realizaron un escaneo de gato. Fue así como encontraron una masa indeterminada en su pulmón izquierdo en la que le realizaron una biopsia. Después de varias semanas recibimos la noticia de que nunca estás preparado para escuchar.

Denize es el principal proveedor para ella y su hija y sabemos que será un proceso largo. Como su familia, pedimos ayuda con donaciones u oraciones.
