For Helder Freitas & Denise Dion

Hello, my name is Crystal Dion. On January 20th, 2021 our family lost a very special woman. My cousin Denise Dion.  This loss was completely unexpected and devastating to everyone who knew and loved her. She is someone who I looked up to and admired for her loving spirit, her tenacity, and her absolute unwavering devotion to her husband Helder Freitas and their three children Devon, Evelyn and Preston. Not only was she an inspiration as a mother but as a daughter and a friend. She always put everyone she loved first. She had one of the most empathetic souls of anyone I’ve ever known.  Always, offering her time and support to whomever needed it. Whether it was helping out at the kids school, or getting involved with her children's out of school, extra curricular activities. She was the best at making her family feel truly celebrated on their special days in life.  A true ‘Wonder Woman’. 

It is so difficult for me to even imagine life without her.   I won’t have my honorary  big sister there to have our  long phone calls with,  or to give me great advice  when I need it. I will miss her every day.

I am creating this request for support to help her family get through this very difficult loss so that Helder can focus on taking care of their children and  take the time off that he needs to let them grieve together as a family. The loss of a loved one can create a significant financial burden on a family. 

I graciously ask for all of you to spread the word and share this  post to as many as possible. Please help me to do whatever we can to help take the unexpected financial burden off of this family. I will be forever grateful for all your efforts.
