Hello, my name is Veronica and I’m the mother of Denise, our bright, kind, and strong 19-year-old daughter. On September 20th, our lives changed forever. Denise was involved in a devastating electrical scooter accident when a car struck her and a friend. She was left in critical condition and has been in a coma ever since.

No words can truly describe the pain and fear we’ve been living with every day since the accident. Watching your child fight for her life is something no parent should ever have to go through. Denise has always been full of life and dreams, and now we’re doing everything we can to hold onto hope and be strong for her.

My late husband passed 4 years ago, and as a single mother of five now, I’ve had to stop working so I can be with Denise day and night. Being by her side, praying for her recovery, and making sure she has everything she needs has become my full-time focus. But as the days go on, the emotional and financial toll continues to grow.
