Help Denise Get Back On The Road To Healing

Hi friends, family, kind strangers, and anyone who believes in a little sunflower-strength…

 My name is Monique Walmer, and I’m reaching out to ask for help on behalf of someone very dear to my heart—Denise Joy Anderson. Denise and I met back around 2009 when we were neighbors in Janesville, Wisconsin. We quickly became close friends, and over time, she became part of our family—especially close with my mom.

 If you know Denise, you know this: she lives up to her middle name—Joy. She’s got a bright spirit, a smile that lights up a room, and a heart big enough to hold every person and pup she loves. She’s also been dealt some tough hands lately.

 Denise is currently living on disability. She also recently had a total knee replacement in November and is still trying to catch up physically and financially. And now, life has hit her with another blow—her car broke down, and the repairs are estimated at over $1,000 just for labor.
 
Without her car, she’s lost her independence and even the occasional income she earns by giving rides to friends in need. But more importantly, she’s now unable to get to the doctor’s appointments she relies on as she works toward recovery and better health. She also can’t get spend time with her community at church or go to the grocery store. She’s been praying hard and holding on to hope—and I know we can help be the answer to that prayer.

 Our goal is simple:
If just 77 people donate $17, that’s the cost of two lattes—and Denise will be well on her way to covering her car repairs.

 She needs $400 more by Wednesday for a down payment on the parts to be ordered.

 Anything more is a blessing.
