Help my sister, Denise, Fight Avascular Necrosis

My amazing and wonderfully funny sister has been suffering with a disease that causes her bones to die and collapse. It’s called Avascular Necrosis or Osteonecrosis. She was a competitive runner and was given steroid injections that caused this debilitating disease to develop. She also had Bell’s Palsy at 20 and was on months of high dose steroids. Back then, medical science was not aware of this correlation between AVN and steroids. NSAIDs also affect bones. Most MD’s recommended them for her pain, not knowing if was progressing her disease even further
She is single and currently unable to work to pay for medical bills and expenses of daily living such as rent, electricity and food.
She is a fighter and works hard as a casino waitress in Oklahoma. She worked 2 -3 months on a collapsed left knee with severe pain prior to this most recent total knee replacement.
History of illness.
Unfortunately when her first hip died about 10 yrs ago, her body rejected the hip replacement and she had to undergo a 2nd painful surgery/recovery to get a titanium joint put in. Not long after, her other hip died. She had her 3rd total hip replacement. This time, recovery was more difficult and a year later she kept having severe pain in the hip joint and her gait was impaired. She even felt a click when she walked. Her specialist finally pinpointed the cause - the replacement joint was defective! Poor and unable to afford an attorney, she was unable to sue the company and missed out on the class action suit because insurance is refunded for their expenses BEFORE the patient gets compensated. She had to have her 4th hip replacement to remove the defective prosthesis.
My goal is to help her get back on her feet, physically and financially. She desperately wants to get back to work.
