Help Denise Bishop Through Loss And Uncertainty
First, I start by saying all glory goes to God during our trials and triumphs. God is good and He has been the light to see Denise Bishop and her children through this unimaginable time of loss, grief, and financial hardship. It has been beautiful to see how Denise has continued to glorify God through her heartache as she laid to rest her loving husband of 34yrs and father to their three children, 53yr old Scott Bishop, and shortly thereafter her younger brother, 44yr old Bobby Hellebrand, after his brief battle with cancer.
As you can imagine, these past two and a half months have not been easy for Denise and her children. They have experienced a tremendous amount of loss- a husband and father, brother and uncle- and now they face the heartbreaking reality that their lives will forever be changed.
During a time of unconceivable pain and sorrow, Denise and her family know God’s Plan is perfect and they continue to trust it.
While God’s light has certainly shined brightly through the darkest days that Denise and her children have faced, the road ahead and the decisions to be made will not be easy for Denise’s family.
Denise has not been able to work since her debilitating stroke in 2017. She receives little and is unable to afford the upkeep of their family home. Scott was set to be starting a new job on May 24, just 6 short days after he passed away, being in-between jobs sadly meant there was no life insurance.
Denise must sell her family’s home. Moving out of a place where family memories were made but will never be forgotten will be hard for Denise’s family. There are expenses she needs help with. The house needs repairs before it can go on the market, the mortgage needs to be maintained, and there are moving expenses.
To help lift Denise up and provide the financial support needed to maintain her family’s home during this time of great grief, we have started this support page. Your generous gift will provide financial security to cover the expenses needed to sell the Bishop’s family home and help make Denise’s transitions into a new home as smooth as possible.
I ask that we all pull together to help the Bishop family in this time of uncertainty. Together we can make a difference, lift a financial burden, and keep her home out of foreclosure. Your gift, no matter how big or small, will help make that difference.
