It’s been one month without our dear friend Alexandre. His legacy lives on as a reminder of the importance of family, kindness, and generosity. Alexandre was always ready with a warm welcome, a helping hand, and a smile. He will never be forgotten.

THANK YOU for the incredible support so far. Your donations have already made a meaningful difference, helping Denise and Lara cover urgent costs such as relocating from TX to CA, updating visa and legal documentation, cremation and memorial expenses, and day-to-day essentials during this painful transition.

Now, as they begin the hard journey of rebuilding their lives in CA, new needs have emerged. Denise and Lara are in urgent need of a reliable car, insurance, and an emergency fund to provide stability and security as they move forward.

With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear friend Alexandre, a devoted husband to Denise and a loving father to Lara.

Just this March, Alexandre received a devastating diagnosis: aggressive late-stage cancer. Doctors gave him 3-6 months, but sadly, he passed away in less than two. His departure was sudden, painful, and has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved him.

Alexandre was a kind soul, always ready to welcome friends with barbecue, laughter, and music. As Brazilians living in the U.S., Alexandre and Denise chose to build their lives here to offer Lara a better future. She's currently in her final year of high school, and her father’s greatest wish was to see her graduate and succeed. Now, everything has changed.

Denise and Lara are facing this loss not only with deep emotional pain, but also with significant financial stress. They urgently need help with:
