Rebuild Hope for Denise and Her Husband

Hello, my name is Denise. My husband and I had a devastating experience. On February 10th, 2025, our shop/storage caught fire. Our renter's insurance didn't cover the outbuilding. We did not know this at the time. The shop/storage area is a complete loss.

We lost a 1990 Dodge Ram 1500 that was in the process of getting rebuilt, a 2007 Harley-Davidson Deuce, along with all my husband's work tools. He works in the construction trade, so you can only imagine what it has done to us financially. Also, along with personal things from relatives that had passed away. We are so devastated by this loss; we don't know what we're going to do. My husband's health is not that good. He's had a quad bypass in 2013 and hasn't been the same since. In January of 2023, he got COVID and ended up in the hospital with sepsis; his heart was down to 24%. In December that same year, he lost his job 2 weeks before Christmas. I've been on accommodations since July of 2024, then in January of 2025, I was put on a LOA. We are trying to survive; at times, it is very difficult. Yes, we are depressed; who wouldn't be? But we won't give up.
