I would like to ask friends and family of my best friend Denise to please help her and her boys. She has endured more than most individuals could in the last 4 years. Fighting cancer and a magnitude of health conditions have had her hospitalized for months on end. She most recently spent over 6 weeks in the hospital and endured 5 surgeries. Reconstruction included taking tissue and bone from her skull. She has a home nurse aide and PT. She relies on a walker and sleeps in a recliner; she cannot go up and down her staircase. Denise no longer drives and makes it very tough raising her two teenage boys. Her neurosurgeon cannot perform her back surgeries until she is cleared from infectious disease and her other surgeons, which most likely will be months away….and many more surgeries to endure! Our beautiful friend, who was always the life of the party, is struggling to keep faith and keep going. So many have extended their generosity and encouragement; it means more than you know to her. I hope you find it in your hearts to donate any amount to help lessen the burden of this time in her life.
