Help Denilson receive eye surgery

Denilson is a bright 10 year old Mayan boy from Guatemala.  He was raised from infancy in an orphanage and at the age of 3 began to lose his sight.  By the time he was 6 he was almost completely blind.  Doctors in Guatemala said that nothing could be done for him.  On returning from the annual mission trip to the orphanage, a call to Children's Hospital led to the eye surgeon who said Denilson was a candidate for eye surgery.  Money was raised and he was brought to Pittsburgh for eye surgery.  The eye surgery gave him his some sight and when he returned to Guatemala he was able to play and attend school.

He needs one more surgery on his left eye to help him see more clearly and the surgeon is available to do this surgery now. It is urgent that we raise the money as soon as possible. The cost of the surgery to remove the film that covers that eye is $12,000.  We need to raise this money to give Denilson his dream of good sight.  He is very intelligent and personable and hopes to become a good president of Guatemala one day.  Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated.  Please help us give Denilson the gift of good sight.  Gracias!
