Help Denia Replace Stolen Flute

Hi my name is Eric Moore; I am a friend and colleague of Denia Bradshaw, who - as all who know her can attest - is a wonderful and whole hearted person.

I had the joy of serving on Denia’s PhD dissertation committee, and have served with her in the field of UDL in Higher Education.

This past year has been a difficult one for her, more so than most. She is working hard to move forward against a number of setbacks, including the recent loss of her father, trying to find a job in a rough COVID higher education job market, serious illness for her beloved cat, etc.

Tonight, she has her car broken into and her flute stolen. Denia is a professional musician “on the side,” and her flute is an important and life-giving part of her life. The theft of the flute on top of everything else is just a really hard hit.

I wanted to help her, but had no idea how much Flutes are!

The one she is replacing is $4000 used.

I’m hoping we can help her get an equivalent or better.
