Help Denby Dale Men's Shed create Trinity Workshops

We're raising money on behalf of DENBY DALE AND DISTRICT MEN'S SHED ASSOCIATION and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us. https://www.denbydalemensshed.org/

We are turning the historic Holy Trinity Church into Trinity Workshops that will host the Mens' Shed, Womens' Shed and develop a buzzing creative hub that includes a 'Library of Things', exhibition space and community café. The Church will become a haven for hands-on creativity and a place to celebrate the skills of you and your neighbours in the area. Breathing life back into the empty building and grounds.

First priority is to repair the leaking church roofs - the main tower roof has been repaired, but flat roofs around the building desperately need repair, and as you will see from the photo's three years of water ingress has left rotten beams, joists, walls and electrics that all need repair. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. There's more work taking place to keep the grounds tidy, but we're still hoping to fund roof repairs whilst the weather stays good!!

We hope that when the project is finished the space will cultivate a sense of belonging through shared activities. We will be able to continue our support for the community and environment with projects such as providing planters, notice boards, bat and bird boxes for other local community groups and organisations. We also aim to provide an economic boost through utilising local trades and buying local wherever possible.
