Hi! We’re Hailey and Robbie, and we’re currently fostering a sweet, goofy, incredibly lovable pup named Denali. What started as a foster journey quickly turned into something much more—Denali has completely stolen our hearts, and we’ve decided we want to officially adopt her and give her the forever home she deserves. 

 But there’s a challenge standing in our way. 

 When Denali was surrendered to the shelter, it was discovered that she had a torn cruciate ligament in her hind leg. It’s unclear how long she’s been living with this injury, but it’s definitely causing her pain and limiting her ability to walk and move comfortably. 

 Thankfully, the humane society is stepping in to cover the cost of her first TPLO surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy), since it’s more emergent. 

 We’re incredibly grateful for this. Denali will get the care she urgently needs to be able to walk again. 

 However, we’ve learned through the consultation that her other hind leg will most likely need the same surgery in the near future. This GoFundMe will help us prepare for that possibility, as well as cover post-adoption medical costs, recovery supplies, and long-term care needs once she is officially ours. If she ends up not needing this second surgery all donations will go directly to the Humane Society of Chittenden County 

 Denali has already been through a lot—she was surrendered after a difficult situation, but she’s shown nothing but love, gentleness, and resilience. She has been the biggest snuggler, the goofiest shadow, and the calmest soul. She deserves to run, play, and live her life to the fullest. 

 Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her future surgery and ongoing care.
