Help Dena beat pancreatic cancer
Hello everyone! My name is Maria, and I am looking to raise money to help my mom and dad during this very difficult point in their lives. A little background for those who don’t know… Back in march my mom, Dena, was taken to the ER for severe abdominal pain. When in the ER they found out she had pancreatitis, which led to them finding a large tumor on her pancreas. We then found out she had a very rare form of pancreatic cancer, and was going to have a long battle ahead of her. After getting many different opinions, going through a very intense surgery called a whipple procedure, and starting chemo… she then had a stroke.
On June 27th, in the morning she woke up and my dad noticed she was acting a little funny. With my dads nursing background he immediately called 911 knowing she was having a stroke. After getting to the hospital, and having surgery to remove the clot, she now needs 24/7 supervision at home. Since she cannot be alone, my Dad has to take at least 4 weeks off of work. With both of them being out of work, medical bills, and having three children and 4 dogs at home, they need help. I am asking on behalf of them, as anyone who knows my parents know they will not ask for assistance. This money will go towards medical bills, food, gas, and anything else that is essential to get my Mom to and from her appointments.
