You’re right, life does change in an instant only and in this case... it’s negative.

I’d like to tell you about my friend Demi. I’ve worked with her for 14 years in a nearby hospital. She’s a very hard worker. She loves her kids and she loves her husband. Recently, her husband was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and what that brought to her family is the tragedy of having the man you love hospitalized on several occasions and is now 24/7 care as he is bedridden for the rest of his life. Unless he can get a liver transplant. Unfortunately, that list is long and his diagnosis and its effects might not be able to wait. be a short time. He is fading quicker than they had hoped for. Demi and her husband were already struggling.

They have six beautiful children and that’s a handful already.. add to that financial pressures of 2026 and as you can guess it has been hard to make ends meet, in all areas. I’ve enclosed a picture of their beautiful family. The children are young, as you can see. The children don’t understand the severity of daddy being sick , but they do know they have had to move, they know that mommy cries a lot, and they know that daddy can’t play with them anymore, he’s too weak. I’m appealing to your kind hearts to donate money to this family as they struggle to try to make things the best they can with the limited time they have left. Demi‘s working 60 hours a week right now , relatives are watching the children so she can, but her job does not bring in the money that is needed to support the family. One income in San Diego doesn’t cut it.

I can hardly grasp the impact of losing the support, on all arenas, of your loved one in life, when you’re barely getting started. I hope you can feel a tug at your heart.
