On Saturday, December 20th, 2025, my life changed in an instant. While I was at work, my landlord called to tell me that a fire had erupted in my home. With only a few days left until Christmas, I found myself without a place to live, left to clean up the aftermath and try to salvage what little was left. The house is now uninhabitable, and I am struggling to find a way forward.
I have tried reaching out for help from organizations like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, FEMA, and 211, but unfortunately, I was turned away each time. The pain of losing my home is overwhelming, and the lack of support has left me feeling isolated and hopeless. I am now homeless, doing my best to clean the soot off what remains, and trying to figure out my next steps.
The donations I receive will go directly toward finding a safe place to stay, whether temporary or permanent, and replacing the essentials I lost in the fire. Your support will also help me take care of my mental health, as this experience has been incredibly difficult and I have been struggling deeply. If you are able to donate or even just share my story, it would mean everything to me. I have no one else to turn to, and your kindness could help me find hope again.
