My name is Demesha, and I’m reaching out for support for myself and my kids during a really challenging time. Recently, I lost both my job and my car within a single day. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to keep things together for my family. I’ve been renting a car so I can continue to DoorDash, get my kids to school and appointments. Even though I received some tax money, it all went straight to paying bills and catching up on four months of overdue rent.

Right now, I’m working hard to keep a roof over our heads and provide for my kids, but it’s been a struggle to keep up with the costs of renting a car and staying on top of bills. The funds from this fundraiser will help me continue to rent a car or, hopefully, purchase a reliable vehicle so I can keep working and caring for my family. They’ll also help cover essential bills while I get back on my feet.
