Help Demchyk Family Fight Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I never imagined I'd be writing this, but here we are - fighting for the life of my husband, Vadym Demchyk.
In January, 2025, Vadym was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer – Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
What started with small bump on his neck turned into life-altering battle with cancer – over past 3 month he endured a surgery and 4 rounds of chemotherapy (will be continued every two weeks till August 2025). His condition is very serious as he has been in intensive care multiple times and still is undergoing complex treatments, with currently no signs of improvement and in a lot of pain.
At the same time, after many years of waiting, struggles, and difficult treatments, 3 weeks ago Vadym and I became parents of newborn son - Demyan. A lifelong dream, which was granted at a great cost.
Unfortunately, the joy of new parenthood has been overshadowed by Vadym’s cancer. Before his illness, he was a truck driver and provided most of the income for our family. I was operating a small home business, making cookies, cakes and desserts, but my main responsibility at this time is taking care of our 3 weeks old son and caring for my husband.
Now our family has been left practically without any means to sustain ourselves. We have always stood strong together as a family, but this financial burden is something we can’t face alone.
Any amount of support you can provide would mean the world to us and would help us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
With love and gratitude,
Vita Demchyk

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us through GoFundMe — whether through donations, kind words, or simply sharing our story. Your support has been a source of strength during the most difficult time in our lives.
My husband is bravely fighting stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma. Today, he completed his sixth round of chemotherapy — halfway through his treatment. It hasn’t been easy, but your kindness has helped carry us through the toughest days.
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to focus on what truly matters: his healing. We still have a long road ahead, with six more sessions to go, but we face it with more hope and less fear — because we know we’re not alone.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Your support means the world.
With love and endless gratitude,
Demchyk family
