Dembo Fula clinic is a family-run clinic that has successfully brought a better healthcare system to the rural village of the Gambia. It was founded in 2016 in hopes of creating affordable healthcare for the community in need. Access to quality healthcare is very difficult in The Gambia but finding health and economic development solutions in the clinic has been a success since. In addition to year-round affordable healthcare, every year in December/January the clinic holds a day of free clinic day which includes free physician consultations, free medications, free blood pressure screenings, etc. Each year about 30-50 volunteers assist throughout the day to ensure each patient is provided with optimal care and treatment. Dembo Fula Clinic is a clinic in works to improve access to healthcare with this yearly free clinic day it allows members of the community who cannot afford to get annual physical examinations or refill on medications they take daily. The assistance from the volunteers is vital to the clinic day success. Prior to attending, we ensure the volunteers fundraise money to help the non-profit clinic raise money to buy medications and equipment. Please help us raise money for a successful Clinic Day!!
