My name is Demaryon Wade. I’m a Junior at the University of Maine and a Midshipman with the NROTC program, working toward a degree and a commission in 2028.

I've always had to work hard for my opportunities. Coming from a single-parent, low-income household, I learned early on that perseverance is everything. It’s what got me here, and it’s what fuels my dream of serving as a Naval Officer.

Right now, I’m facing a challenge I can’t solve on my own. An overdue balance with the university is holding up my enrollment for next semester. Without resolving it, I can't register for the classes I need to continue in the program. It’s as simple—and as frustrating—as that. After all this work, the last thing I want is for a financial deadline to be the thing that pauses my progress.

That’s why I’m humbly asking for your support. Any help you can offer would make a real and immediate difference. It would directly go toward clearing this balance so I can get back to focusing on what matters: my studies and my training.
