help deluca get top surgery !

hi ! this story is about my beautiful friend, deluca / sunny. so i used to see him around the halls all the time at school and thought he looked like the coolest guy ever. he happened to be friends with some of my other friends, so it wasn't long till we started hanging out and became very close friends as well. this was our junior year of high school, which was also the year that deluca came out as a trans man.

nothing hurts more than seeing someone you care deeply for have to suffer and not being able to do anything about it. his parents are very transphobic and not at ALL accepting of his identity. his mother has thrown away his binders that others would gift him or he'd secretly buy, as well as anything with his name on it instead of his dead name (school folders, papers, etc.), and verbally abused him with threats of getting physical. at some point, she was regularly sending him news articles of transgender people that had been killed or beaten/jumped. she also outed him to his father, against his wishes, who just ignores deluca's identity altogether. on top of living in a toxic household, dealing with feelings of dysphoria that bring about suicidal thoughts and depression is another difficult struggle to navigate.

he's talked about how much top surgery would change his life and help make him feel more comfortable in his body and in life in general. we, his friends, greatly appreciate anything you can offer ! we love deluca so much and just want to see him happy. thank you so much and please share ! <3
