Help Delphi Supply Restore and Restock
Wednesday night the heavy rain fall from Hurricane Ida flooded my Uncles' Hardware Store, Delphi Supply in Schwenskville PA. The picture attached does not do the damage justice, but is the only one I was able to get before my sister was evacuated from her apartment above the store by the fire rescue. The water ended up to the top shelf in the picture. Both of my Uncles love their community, they donate mulch to local learning centers, glass sheets to girl scout troops for projects, and they are always there for customers to answer any and all questions related to landscaping, fixing your home, or DIY projects. These are two hard working men that will greet you with a smile and chances are they also know you by name. Everything I know about genuine and kind customer service I learned from watching them. They have a 5 star rating when you google Delphi Supply and are known for being friendly, helpful, and fast with all services. They deliver mulch, sand, stone, etc for landscaping needs. They contract with you and help remodel or build kitchens and bathrooms and they will make home visits to help fix something if you can't fix it yourself. You name a tool or a product you need for any home or business project and they probably (had) it. Unfortunately as a result of the water damage from the Hurricane they have lost $150,000 of their product they sell to the community. No insurance will restock that much loss. Delphi Supply is their livelihood. This business pays their bills, pays their employees, and keeps a roof over their heads and now they are at a loss for how to proceed forward and how to restock their shelves to get back to serving their community's hardware needs. Any bit of donation you can manage would be greatly appreciated to help them cover their losses and get back to running their business. I've never done one of these before and I am not someone to ever ask for money, but I know my Uncles are both struggling big time with this loss and all the damage done. Please share this link with family and friends as much as possible to get the word out. Thank you so much!
