Update: we have had an anonymous donation pay for the whole semi truck delivery! All donations will be for filling the truck!!!
praise the Lord, he will provide!!
Good Afternoon, Everyone,
As many of you know, a devastating hurricane recently struck the southern United States, leaving many in need. Yesterday, I watched a semi-truck being loaded in Poplar Grove, Illinois, filled with food, diapers, wipes, and other nonperishable items to be sent down to the Carolinas. It was a powerful reminder of the need to give.
God has placed it on my heart to organize a donation effort to help those affected, particularly in North Carolina . After praying for guidance, I reached out to Joshua Mintor with Global Mercy Ministries, and it just so happens he’ll be traveling to that area this week. We are connected with Compassion to Action Ministries and Global Mercy Ministries, to bring products to a church in Clyde, North Carolina. I also connected with a friend from high school who owns a trucking company, and they have graciously agreed to help transport the donations.
Now, we need your support.
What We Need:
- Fees: To cover the costs associated with crates, rentals, and the truck, we need to raise $10,000. This will ensure we can successfully transport the donations.
- Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to help load the materials onto the crates.
- Donations: We need people to donate items from a specific list (which I will share shortly), including essential nonperishable goods.
- Donations will be collected tomorrow, Friday, 10/4/2024, and will be delivered to those in need on Monday, 10/7/2024.
- Water
- Sports Drinks
- Non-perishable food
- Baby supplies - baby diapers and wipes
- Hand sanitizer/wipes
- Trash bags

Prayer: The most important need of all is prayer. Please pray for:
- Safety for our driver transporting the donations to North Carolina.
- Protection for our volunteers loading and delivering the supplies.
- Salvation for those who will be ministered to through this effort.
