Hi everyone! It’s Delilah. My sweet dog that I have had since I was 13 recently had a very unexpected surgery come up. We are anticipating the cost to be between $3,000-$4,000 depending on what happens once the surgeon actually gets in there. We initially thought he had a burst anal gland, but as the weeks have gone by and the bleeding has persisted, the vets have come to the conclusion that it can be anything ranging from a Foxtail or a cancerous mass. We won’t know what is actually going on until he goes in for surgery. He has otherwise been healthy and on track for a long life. I do not have the heart to put him down over something like money so I’m doing everything I can to get his surgery paid for! Anything helps.
