I'm Aleshia Esch, and my Aunt Delia is fighting through a medical crisis none of us saw coming. Your support can help lift the financial burden so she can focus on healing and coming home.
Delia, the youngest of seven and the heart of our family, recently went into the hospital after not feeling well. What started as a frightening cancer scare quickly turned into an emergency when doctors discovered her bowel needed immediate repair surgery. While recovering, her lungs began to struggle, and her medical team made the difficult decision to perform a tracheotomy and place her on a ventilator to give her the best chance at healing.
Anyone who knows Delia knows she is pure love — the aunt who feels like a best friend, the woman who treats her nieces and nephews like her own, and the dog-mom who dresses her beloved Zeus for every holiday. With her birthday approaching on April 1st, all we want is for her to focus on healing and finding her way back home.
We are raising funds to help Delia and Wayne stay afloat during this unexpected crisis so they don't have to worry about bills or financial stress. Donations will go directly toward rent, utilities, food, travel to and from the hospital, time off work, and caring for her beloved fur baby, Zeus.
Any donation, big or small, will be deeply appreciated — every little bit truly helps. If you're unable to donate, please share this GoFundMe to help spread the word, and know that all prayers are welcomed and cherished.
