My name is Delgermurun Gombojav, and together with my husband, Otgonbaatar Jigjidsuren, we are the proud parents of our 11-year-old son. Today, with a heavy heart, I am reaching out for help during the most painful and challenging time of our lives.

In October 2024, our world changed forever. My husband was diagnosed with end-stage liver cirrhosis. His liver has completely stopped functioning, and without a transplant, his life is at grave risk. Each day, his abdomen painfully fills with fluid, and he struggles to find relief. In November, his condition worsened so severely that he was hospitalized for two months. Since then, I have been his full-time caregiver.

But our tragedy does not stop there. I, too, have been diagnosed with decompensated liver cirrhosis. Like my husband, I also need a liver transplant. On top of this, I suffer from heart complications and asthma, which make even simple daily tasks exhausting.

Neither of us is able to work, yet we are doing everything we can to be there for our son—our sweet boy who needs his parents now more than ever. The weight of our illnesses, combined with the financial and emotional strain, has left us in a desperate situation. We are behind on rent, drowning in medical bills, and struggling with basic needs—our home is without gas, and daily life is a constant battle.

This is why I am reaching out with all the humility in my heart: we cannot do this alone.
