Help Delfino fight Liver Cancer

My father-in- law was diagnosed with a Primary Liver Cancer called Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) on March 8, 2019. We originally took him to the ER on March 5, 2019 because he was highly dehydrated and jaundice (yellow). We automatically thought it was the medicine the Gastrologist had prescribed him for his constant reflux. However the doctors became to examine him with MRI’s, CT scans, blood work, and biopsies and gave us the diagnosis we NEVER expected. Being a non-smoker, non-drinker, and was constantly on top of his diet/health it was a shocking news for all of us. His cancer is so advance he does not qualify to have a liver transplant or surgery to remove the tumor. Our only hope the doctor has gave us is chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumor and hope for a future surgery to save his life.
As everyone knows hospital visits and tests are expensive and unfortunately my father-in-law does not have any kind of health insurance. He has been in the United States since 2000 but has not been able to become a U.S Citizen.
I’m reaching out to everyone to help Delfino get his life back that Cancer is taking away from him. I want him to be able to get back on his feet and be able to be there for his family like he has always been. Delfino deserves to have the best chance of survival. Anything helps, if you can’t donate please pray and share his story.

En el 8 de Marzo de 2019 a mi suegro lo diagnosticaron con un cáncer primario en el hígado llamado colangiocarcinoma intrahepático (ICC). Lo llevamos a la sala de emergencias el 5 de marzo de 2019 porque estaba muy deshidratado y tenia ictericia (estaba amarillo). Automáticamente pensamos que era la medicina que el gastrólogo le había recetado para sus argruras que tenia constantement. Sin embargo, los médicos comenzaron a examinarlo con resonancias magnéticas, tomografías computarizadas, análisis de sangre y biopsias y nos dieron el diagnóstico que NUNCA esperábamos. Fue una noticia impactante para todos nosotors ya que delfino nunca tomaba, ni fumaba, y siempre esta emcima de su dieta y salud. Su cáncer es tan avanzado que no reúne los requisitos para someterse a un trasplante de hígado ni a una cirugía para poder quitar el tumor. Nuestra única esperanza que el médico nos ha dado es la quimioterapia para reducir el tamaño del tumor y la esperanza de una futura cirugía para salvar su vida.
Como todos saben, las visitas al hospital y los examines son caras y, lamentablemente, mi suegro no tiene ningún tipo de seguro de salud. Ha estado en los Estados Unidos desde el año 2000 pero no ha podido ajustar un estatus en los Estados Unidos.
Me dirijo a todos para ayudar a Delfino a recuperar su vida que el Cáncer le está quitando. Quiero que él pueda volver a ponerse de pie y poder estar allí para su familia como siempre lo ha estado. Delfino merece tener la mejor oportunidad de sobrevivir. Cualquier cosa ayuda, si no puedes donar, por favor ora y comparte su historia.
