My brother, Delfino (a.k.a. "Delfie") Chapa was in a devastating motorcycle accident on June 12, 2021. Delfie was severely injured and continues to suffer from the accident. Delfie survived the crash, and was airlifted to Spohn Shoreline in Corpus Christi, Texas due to the severity of his injuries. Delfie was released from the hospital on June 28, 2021. He is currently undergoing therapy and will be recovering from home for the foreseeable future. Delfie needs help with his future medical expenses (e.g., prescriptions, hospital bills, insurance deductibles, doctor visits, home health visits, and medical supplies that are not covered by his health insurance).

Delfie will need continuous wound care, as well as intensive physical & occupational therapy. We hope Delfie will one day be strong enough to work again. His recovery may be difficult, but we still have faith. We do know his jaw will be wired shut for the next 8 weeks. His eyesight may be permanently damaged, as well as his hands and arms. He has a long journey ahead of him but with God, all things are possible.
