This is an additional fundraiser for our friend Delano who has angiosarcoma to cover the costs of a "last-wish" fishing trip that has been organized by his friends Eileen & Scott. As the budget for this trip exceeds what we had built into his primary fundraising campaign Stand with Delano for "last-wish" outings, we feel that it is necessary to set up a separate fundraiser so that donors understand what the funds will be used for.

The fishing trip arranged by Eileen & Scott is scheduled for 9/22 out of Emeryville, CA on the Pacific Pearl for a group of 18. The total cost of this trip is $4,500 (breakdown set out below) with $1,300 in direct costs to cover Delano and one friend on this outing (this is being covered by the primary fund), so $3,200 in additional funds are required to cover the costs for additional participants.

Organizers, Eileen and Scott, are asking invited participants able to cover their direct share of costs ($200) to make a donation in that amount. However, some invitees are unable to cover this full amount and the organizers are seeking donations so that Delano's friends can participate in this special outing.

Donors to the original funds who want to help cover the costs of additional participants, can allocate their original donation, or a portion of it, to this fund. Just notify us and we will shift the funds to this campaign.
