Help Delaney become a Certified Nursing Assistant
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Delaney, and I've always had a passion for helping and serving others and have been blessed with the opportunity to turn it into a career. As a child, it always made me happy to surprise my Mom with a clean house or a hot meal when she would come home from work. It made me glad that I made her day a little better after a stressful day in the office. Later in life, when I started my baking business called "The Sweet Lane," I donated and served women at a local homeless shelter in Washington, D.C. Currently, in my free time, with tips from work, I create "Blessing Bags" filled with first aid supplies, food, water, and Bible verses which I keep in my car to give to the homeless to help motivate and inspire them in their times of trials and tribulations.
Due to my own season of trials and tribulations, I decided to temporarily move back home in April of 2022. At that time, I began working for an assisted living facility in Farmington, Minnesota, while living back at home with my Mom. Surprisingly, I fell in love with that line of work so much that I took it upon myself in my spare time to earn my BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association. In the past, healthcare was something that I never considered as a career, but God knew my character, and in my season of growing, he gave me a purpose connected to my true gift of caregiving.
Recently, I was accepted into a CNA program through the state of Maryland to earn my certification by November of this year. With your help, my goal can become a reality. I appreciate your assistance in helping me turn my passion for caring and loving others in their times of need into a passion-filled career. This will be the first of many steps in my medical career, as my long-term goal is to become a registered nurse (RN). I am preparing to start my Certified Nursing Assistant classes very soon. However, I need your help to fund my passion. The course starts September 12th and must be paid in full by September 11th. As it is a non-credit class, financial aid or scholarships do not cover the cost of the course. With your assistance, I will have the funds to pay for the class, books, and other necessary materials. It would mean a great deal to me if you donated to support my medical career dreams that start with these CNA classes.
I sincerely appreciate your support.
With love,
