Help Delainey Get the Care She Needs ❤️

They’ve already spent $8k this past month and were quoted an additional $10k for more diagnostic, not even answers or treatment.

Hi friends and family,

This fundraiser is for my brother & his girlfriend, their furbaby, Delainey’s health journey has taken a sudden and serious turn, and we need your help to give her the care she deserves.

Here’s what’s happened so far:

Timeline of Events

• Prior to Aug 18, 2025 – Delainey had been experiencing vomiting and diarrhea, and was seen by her vet.

• Aug 18, 2025 – Bloodwork showed early signs of liver issues and jaundice. (High Bilirubin)

• Aug 28, 2025 – Follow-up bloodwork confirmed worsening liver indicators and persistent jaundice.

• Sat, Aug 31, 2025 – A concerning spot appeared that prompted further testing & surgery to remove to avoid sepsis. Still were left with no answers.

• Early September 2025 – Diagnostics indicated Delainey will require specialized treatment. She was taken back into the vet due to her legs uncontrollably shaking indicating pain.

• Now – They are left with no answers and their dog is presenting signs of going into liver failure without diagnosis/treatment. They were quoted for an ultrasound lived biopsy to detect cancer cells (Additional $3,000) or a more invasive biopsy to determine copper toxicity called an exploratory laparotomy. (Additional $7-10,000) These quotes are without treatment and in addition to the thousands already spent over the last month.

Every step has been overwhelming for them, and the costs are mounting quickly. They are both in their early 20’s and just moved out on their own this year. It’s horrible to be given the choice of going into debt or losing your pet that is your family. We want to ensure Delainey gets the best possible treatment without compromise.
